Anxiety Therapy
in Los Angeles
Anxiety therapy in West Los Angeles focused on calming the nervous system and reducing chronic worry.
Anxiety can be all-consuming, as if your mind never turns off and your body’s always on edge. With the right support, quieting the noise and overcoming the worry is absolutely possible.
Waking up with a sense of dread does not have to be the norm.
Anxiety can feel constant, exhausting, and loud. Therapy offers a modern, collaborative approach to anxiety treatment that helps you understand your patterns, feel more grounded, and build a life that feels like an exhale. Over time, anxiety can become more manageable, quieter, and less consuming. You don’t have to carry this alone, and you deserve support that meets you where you are.

How Can Therapy Help?
We’ll explore what’s fueling your anxiety, not just the symptoms, but the beliefs, patterns and pressures underneath it. You’ll gain practical tools to manage your mental health in the moment while also building long-term emotional resilience.
EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES THAT WORK
Anxiety has a way of infiltrating your thoughts and making everything feel harder to manage. My practice in West Los Angeles focuses on understanding what fuels anxiety while gradually building tools that support both mind and body in regaining clarity and calm. When anxiety is connected to unresolved trauma or past experiences, EMDR therapy may be a helpful next step. If you’re dealing with long-term worry or an acute stressor, therapy can help you feel clearer, steadier, and more in control.

Therapy for anxiety therapy requires slowing down to adequately understand the nature of the worry.
From here, we’ll actively identify and address the stressors so you can achieve a calmed nervous system. You’ll get practical tools for calming your mind and body, along with steady support for anxiety during the moments that feel hardest.

Anxiety therapy is a good fit if you’re dealing with constant worry, overthinking, physical tension, trouble relaxing, or the feeling that your mind is always “on.” It’s especially helpful if stress is affecting your sleep, relationships, school, or work, or if you’ve been trying to manage everything on your own and feel overwhelmed.

Sessions are 50 minutes and both in person at my Sawtelle office in West Los Angeles or virtually through secure telehealth anywhere in California. We’ll move at a pace that feels supportive and focus on creating steady, meaningful progress over time.
Practical Skills and Foundational Healing
Because anxiety shows up in both thoughts and in the body, it’s important that support reaches both layers, too. In our work together, you won’t just learn coping skills, you’ll learn why your anxiety reacts the way it does and how to shift the patterns beneath it.
I blend practical tools from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with foundational therapies that address the deeper root of the anxiety. CBT skills actively help you manage the immediate spiral by slowing thoughts, grounding your body and giving you concrete strategies you can use in the moment. These tools create stability so you can lessen overwhelm.
While treating the “day to day” anxiety, we’ll work with the core experiences that fuel your anxiety, including old patterns, attachment wounds, past experiences and the moments when your nervous system learned to stay on high alert. This foundational work helps shift the base rather than only the daily symptoms, which leads to more lasting change.
Together, we’ll build a well-rounded approach that helps you feel more secure as time goes on. You’ll develop tools you can use immediately while also processing the root of your anxiety so you can move through life with more confidence, steadiness and ease.
I work with people who are often seen as “the strong one” but are quietly struggling with anxiety, burnout or feeling like they’re not doing enough. My approach is modern, collaborative and nonjudgmental. Together, we’ll make room for both emotional insight and real-life strategies you can use outside the therapy room.
You don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode.
I’ll integrate tools from EMDR, attachment based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and nervous system education for a well-rounded, personalized approach to anxiety treatment.
Sessions are available in person on Sawtelle Blvd. in West Los Angeles or virtually throughout California.
